We lost a cat to cancer not long ago, but fate put a needy kitten in our lap. Drove up to Long Beach one day with Amy to pick up some vintage fabrics at Meow. I noticed the owner looking down into a shoebox with a funny grin on her face.
Next thing you know, we are taking home a seven-day-old kitten that had been abandoned by it's mother (Vampira) in the backyard.
Ears pinned, eyes closed, and ambillical cord still attached it was a long process to raise a kitten without the mother. Today she is one of the most fearless creatures i've ever known and makes me laugh everyday by doing something crazy. Most of the time, she just sits on the keyboard, bites my hand, and stretches on the monitor.
I used to type 60 words per minute, now it's more like 10. If the site isn't updated often, you'll know why. |
